“Los Angeles-based Cinema Libre Studio has acquired North American distribution rights for the sequel to the 1999 Oscar-nominated “Buena Vista Social Club.”

Wim Wenders’ docudrama, “The Sons of Buena Vista,” is expected to hit U.S. theaters this summer, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.”
