“The sharp scent of Cuban coffee long has drifted through the terminals of Miami International Airport. But when George Sidaros, a devotee of Latin cuisine, toured Fort Lauderdale’s largest travel hub, his search for a café con leche came up empty.

Sidaros and Brian Bowdish, both in charge of revamping the food service at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, decided Cuban coffee and Argentine empanadas would be quick sells among the growing hordes of passengers traveling to Latin America.”
