“The National Association of Hispanic Publications(NAHP) had its 21st annual Convention and Expo this past weekend. During the event that counted with the presence of special personalities in which stood out the Attorney General of the Nation, Alberto González, were presented the awards to hispanic publications in different categories such as editorial, marketing, photography, and design. In contrast to previous years, more than 700 entries to the contest made this year’s event the most competitive yet. Judged by a respected group of professionals, the different proposals were evaluated individually by the judges.
This year, the Association wanted to render homage to the Cuban poet and journalist José Martí and for the first time we gave away the José Martí Publishing Awards to the best in the industry. “
