Hispanic or Latino, there’s little difference

Demonstrators often carry the flags of Mexico, Guatemala and other Latin American countries.
They may come from Latin America but they prefer to be called Hispanic rather than Latino or Latina. The current issue of the Delaware weekly bilingual newspaper has just changed its name from El Tiempo Latino to El Tiempo Hispano. “Estamos cambiando,” we are changing, proclaims the front page.”
