Four slain in Mexican border city over weekend

“NUEVO LAREDO, Mexico - Gunmen killed four men in separate attacks over the weekend in this violent border city, bringing to 71 the number of murders here so far this year, authorities said Sunday.

Norberto Diaz, and Leandro Villarreal, 29, who lived in Laredo, Texas, died Saturday night when gunmen opened fire as they stood on the terrace of a Nuevo Laredo residence, police investigator Raul Galindo said. Police said the victims’ nationalities had yet to be identified.”
