Salem Fire starts bilingual program to reach Hispanics in Oregon

“The Salem Fire Department has been awarded $125,000 to create a bilingual fire- and life-safety education program.

The grant comes from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and will provide the department with resources to reach Salem’s Hispanic community, fire officials said.”
