“Students walked out at nearly two dozen schools Friday to hold loud but peaceful protest rallies around the city over immigration policies being debated in Congress.

Police and school officials reported one arrest and no injuries after at least 3,000 people, drawn together by text messages and cell phone calls, marched to the Las Vegas Strip and held demonstrations at downtown government buildings and a park.”
