“Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology Association (“LISTA”) will hold its 2nd Annual Legislative Breakfast in New Jersey on March 29, 2006 at New Jersey Institute of Technology (“NJIT”), 154 Summit Street, Newark, NJ 07102. The event, which is being sponsored by Comcast and Verizon, will be held in NJIT’s Campus Center’s breath-taking Atrium Lounge.

Local government officials and technology leaders have been invited to discuss public policy initiatives that may affect the telecommunications industry and our community for many years to come. The proposed reform of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and possible changes to telecommunications policy in the states could have a profound impact on the more than 1.2 million Latinos in the New Jersey and the tri-state area. “
