Immigration debate heats up in Minnesota, nation

“As the national immigration debate continued to spark massive protests across the country Tuesday, the debated heated up in Saint Paul.

At the State Capitol, two more immigration bills were added to the pile of legislation being considered by lawmakers.

One of them - introduced by Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Delano - led to fireworks in the Health Policy and Finance Committee.”
