“The daughter of Chicano leader Rodolfo “Corky” Gonzales and other Hispanic advocates are demanding that Longmont city officials provide public space and pay all costs to create a mural honoring Hispanic historical figures.

The advocates are angry because the city painted over a 4-month-old mural at the Longmont Youth Center this month.”
