“The photo exhibition “Our Journeys / Our Stories: Portraits of Latino Achievement,” which presents the narratives of 24 individuals and one extended family, will be on display this weekend through June 16 at the Chamizal National Memorial. The exhibition, which looks at the experiences of Hispanics who have made significant contributions to American life, was developed by the Smithsonian Center for Latino Initiatives.
Kristine Navarro, director of the University of Texas at El Paso Institute of Oral History, said attendees of the exhibit can get a lot out of it.”
