Jon Secada blends careers and a cause

“Grammy winner Jon Secada has sold 20 million albums, and as the first Latin male crossover sensation helped pave the way for the likes of Ricky Martin, but his veteran pop-star status doesn’t help get his food any faster from a slow kitchen.

This happened during lunch at the Regent Beverly Wilshire. It was the day after the Grammys; the hotel was buzzing with attendees lunching, leaving and schmoozing. Secada, who had flown in from Miami for the awards, hadn’t eaten much the previous night at Grammy parties because he was busy catching up and congratulating friends.”
