“Resources and assistance for the New Orleans-area Hispanic residents and business owners were unveiled last week at Theodore Roosevelt Middle School. The school annex building now houses the Hispanic Business Resource and Technology Center, an initiative the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce funded to help in the region’s economic recovery after Hurricane Katrina.
Joining the Hispanic Chamber as partners in the project are the Jefferson Parish Public Schools, Southeastern Louisiana University, Catholic Charities and the Archdiocese of New Orleans.”
