“The contingent, from KU’s Office of Multicultural Affairs and several other offices, will travel to Garden City on Friday and to Liberal and Dodge City on Saturday. The meetings are geared to Hispanic high school and community college students and their parents.

Santos Nunez, director of KU’s Multicultural Resource Center, said the hope is to provide information on how to prepare for college and finance a four-year education. Moreover, participants will tout the leadership skills to be gained by a university education.”
