“Reading to children has always been a bonding experience for mothers and vital to the early education needs of children. For mothers of Volta Elementary School children, it can be a little intimidating, especially if their child doesn’t speak the same language.

To combat this problem, Volta launched it’s Latino Family Literacy Program aimed at Spanish speaking mothers who want to lead a more active role in their children’s education.”
