Inspiration abounds on Ricardo Montaner’s latest CD

“Montaner gets a little more romantic on the 16-track CD, leaning more on melodic ballads like the title track, “Cuando a Mi Lado Estas,” and the torchy “Vida Eterna.” Known for his piercing and emotive vocal style, Montaner has regularly resided on the charts with memorable ballads such as “Tan Enamorados,” “La Cima del Cielo” and “Me Va a Extrañar.”

So far only the track “Cuando A Mi Lado Estas” has charted, but Montaner said he was particularly proud of “Vida Eterna,” which came to him in a moment of clarity. In it, Montaner sings about his devotion to Jesus Christ and realizing what is truly important in life.”
