“For nearly 90 years, men have been ordained priests at St. Patrick Cathedral and gone on to represent the Roman Catholic Church.
One of them, Pedro de Jesus Maldonado Lucero, ordained on Jan. 25, 1918, had his faith put to the ultimate test. Once he was ordained, Maldonado returned to Chihuahua, where he pastored a church during a difficult time.”
