“Imagine being in the land of opportunity, seeing that American dream, but never quite able to grab it.

This is the case for many Latino and Hispanic children who are not considered American residents and are therefore denied higher education.

This issue was part of a presentation called “Hispanic/Latino Aspects of Education in Our Community,” presented by Ruben Viramontez-Anguiano, assistant professor in the school of family and consumer sciences at the University.”
