The all-day professional development seminar was held at the University of California Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and was cosponsored by New America Media (NAM), the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) and UC Berkeley. More than 75 participants filled 14 workshops and media representatives traveled from as far as Bakersfield and Sacramento to attend the event.
