“Successful Latinos will make presentations to Latino high school students from St. Helena and Calistoga about how to become strong leaders. Valley activists Aurelio Hurtado and Luis Flores, who knew Cesar Chavez personally, will discuss Chavez’ contributions to Latino life.

“I like all the energy that these high school students bring to the event,” said Napa Valley Unified School District Trustee Jose Hurtado. “They are so eager to learn not only about school, but also learn from their elders about what it means and what it takes to be successful. They’ll learn about all the resources and help that they have available to them.”"
