“A Cen-Tex Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board member is accusing executive director Joe Rodriguez of trying to swing tonight’s board election by packing the chamber’s membership with his relatives.

Board member Viviana Ruiz-Smith said she believes Rodriguez has been recruiting close relatives to elect a board that is sympathetic to him at a time when he is awaiting trial on a misdemeanor charge of assaulting a woman in Cameron Park by “offensive touching.”"
