“Hispanic Magazine, in its latest issue (March 2006), published its ranking of the Top 25 Colleges for Latinos. Dartmouth College, ranked number ten on the list, was commended for its commitment to diversity. The magazine’s editors based their rankings on overall academic excellence and selectivity as well as Latino/a enrollment figures and cultural and academic programming for Latino students.

Alexander Hernandez-Siegel, the Associate Dean of Student Life and Advisor for Latino Students, said “We are very pleased about Hispanic Magazine’s choice to rank Dartmouth in the Top Ten in their list of 25 colleges and universities for Hispanics. I feel it will put the College’s name and reputation in more Latino communities around the country. I believe that the ranking comes from the College’s commitment to make pluralism a top priority on campus and the resources Dartmouth puts forward for the undergraduate experience.”"
