“At first, travelers on Airport Road might wonder if Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been spotted somewhere in the fields of southern Corvallis, as clusters of excited people brandishing spotting scopes line the roadway, peering into the distance.

What they’re actually focusing on is a celebrity of sorts, but not of the Hollywood variety. A Crested Caracara, which normally resides in Mexico and Central America, has been spotted at several locations in Benton County, and Tuesday it was taking up residence near a dead skunk that it considers a tasty Northwest treat.”
