“A Mexican writer filed criminal complaints on Monday against the Puebla state governor, a judge, prosecutors and a local businessman, accusing them of plotting her arrest in retaliation for her book about a child sex ring.
Lydia Cacho, an author and women’s advocate, filed federal charges in Mexico City, deepening a scandal that has drawn attention to underground trafficking in minors and which could have political implications as July elections approach.”
