Wednesday morning there was a car accident just outside of San Diego with a van full of people from Tagui, Oaxaca, Mexico.

I am writing on behalf of two men whose mother, sister, wife, daughter, niece, uncle, and cousins were in that van and on my own behalf, as I love the family dearly.
The consulate has told us that they will be given court dates in Los Angeles. We believe, that they are however, according the consulate, still in the hospital in San Diego. We have not been allowed to contact family members. They will not even let us contact little Olga age 5–not even her father knows her condition nor has he been allowed to speak with her. We’ve tried calling the various hospitals they are in and the hospitals either refuse to tell us their status or tells us they don’t have such patients (though the consulate has told us otherwise).”
