“I know I’ve been away for about three weeks now. But it has been a challenging three weeks and now once again I come to my bloggers for help.

Early Wednesday morning, a van full of 15 undocumented immigrants and one driver, flipped. Inside the van were 15 people from a very small rural Zapotec town in Oaxaca. I know all 15 people. One person died, she was a single mother of a three-year-old. She had left her daughter with her own mother hoping to be able to provide for all of them. All other passengers were seriously injured except for one, Rosa.”
