“Several Latino businesses in Round Lake and Waukegan are closing today or are working with minimal staff so their employees can march for immigrant rights in Chicago.

They are protesting a bill that calls for stricter immigration enforcement and would penalize anyone or any organization that assists an undocumented immigrant to remain in the United States, including churches and social workers.

Jorge Lagunas, owner of two TaqueríƒÂa Toluca restaurants in Waukegan, is planning to close one restaurant on 10th Street today so the employees can go to the march in Chicago.”
