“The line started to form at 11 a.m. By noon dozens of people had crammed into the Tasty Tacos on East Grand Avenue for lunch.
They ordered, then quickly scrambled to find a place to sit, looking across the stripped-down wooden benches for any sign that customers parked there would leave soon.
Those lucky enough to grab a seat waited to hear their number called ”” “46! 47! 48!” ”” before sitting down to eat the famous tacos, those pillowy shells holding chunks of meat with a spicy taste that’s hard to define but so easy to love.”
