I also have heard that police headquarters is a place where the distrust and paranoia and lack of confidence in leadership runs so rampant it makes Denver Public Schools look like a playground.
But to get a sense of the rift in the department you had to be at the Denver Police Latino Organization’s news conference Tuesday morning. The association formally announced it had filed a class-action discrimination complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Denver and the Department of Justice.”
