“Alejandro Junco de la Vega is a modern Mexican revolutionary. Armed with ethics and a desire for change, this Mexican journalist and entrepreneur has worked for 33 years to help transform what once was a partisan Mexican press into an independent, ambitious medium.

On Tuesday, Junco de la Vega received a 2005 Missouri Honor Medal for Distinguished Service in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism.”
