Knowledge is Power!

“MOTHERS aregreat. We should celebrate them every day.

What I love about them, especially mine, is their wisdom, their sageness, their years of experience handed to us in our important formative years.

Some differences exist between Latino and non-Latino mothers. We don’t have “time outs,” or sitting in the corner for punishment. No, we are regaled with a motherly pinch on the arm, a pull or tug of the ears (explaining our wide ears), tough love caressing of the buttocks, or the best ones, scaring us to death.”
