“Latinos all over the world got teary eyed watching Gustavo Santaolalla (seen celebrating here with la bella Mexicana, Salma Hayek) get an Oscar for Best Original Score. Not only is he one of ours representing proud in an industry where often only a few token talents are allowed, he proudly proclaimed who he was on stage in his acceptance speech and made all Latinos feel like his Oscar was our Oscar. Felicidades Gustavo! I don’t think I’ve ever been more in love with an Argentino.”
