“African Americans and Hispanics take, on average, a month and a half longer than the general population to uncover identity theft, according to a recent survey.
The study, conducted by Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co., also found that criminals are more likely to target checking and savings accounts of African Americans and Hispanics than other ethnic groups.”
