Video link connects Miami, Madrid for Literary Prize
Tagged: novela, RSS, Spanish-language“If anybody needed more evidence that Miami is a player in the Spanish-language literary scene, here’s a tidbit: For the first time this year, the presentation in Madrid of the prestigious prize Premio Alfaguara de Novela was linked live, via video conference with the Santillana USA Publishing offices in Doral, where guests of the publishers were able to watch the ceremony.
A jury presided by Mexican novelist Angeles Mastretta reviewed 510 manuscripts entered under a pseudonym.”
