“The Lakeland-based grocery chain announced plans this week to convert an existing store on Flagler Street in Miami to a Publix Sabor (sabor means flavor), and open a second store in the Miami area at an undetermined location, according to spokeswoman Maria Brous.
Publix launched the Sabor concept last year and opened two of the supermarkets in Hialeah and Kissimmee. The stores have an extended selection of Hispanic food and products, and many of the employees are bilingual.”
