“ROCKFORD ”” Patricia “Pat” Gomez, one of the key figures at La Voz Latina for 20 years, was named executive director of the Hispanic service agency by the board this week.

La Voz employees were told of Gomez’s appointment Friday, about two weeks after Marco Lenis resigned as CEO and president with the explanation only that he was leaving to pursue other interests. Board Chairman Linda Zuba has not commented further, and the Rockford Register Star was unable to contact Lenis.”
