The second annual Latino Conference at Hood College on Saturday will highlight the range of post-secondary educational options available in Frederick County and neighboring counties. Frederick, Maryland

“This is the second year the conference has been held and organizers intend to continue the event every year, said Jeanie Cronin, co-organizer. Each year, the conference will focus on a different theme.

The goal is to connect Hispanic students and their parents with organizations and resources to help the students succeed academically, she said.”
