“Saying that he accepts responsibility for not appointing a minority representative to an education leadership council last year, Gov. Dave Heineman on Wednesday named a Hispanic elementary school principal to the panel.
“I’ll be the first to accept responsibility, and I should have done it differently,” Heineman said after naming Michelle Suarez to the leadership group.”
