“The grant will fund nursing and English as a Second Language programs at the Langan Allied Health Academy at the St. Joseph Medical Center Community Campus at Sixth and Walnut streets.

The project called proyecto siembra, which in Spanish means to sow or plant aims to provide job training and career development for low-income, inner-city residents while helping to meet a need for skilled health-care workers in the area.”
