“A group of anti-war activists are planning a 241-mile march for peace that will start in Tijuana on March 12 and continue to San Francisco, with stops at military bases such as Camp Pendleton.

Escondido’s Fernando Suarez del Solar will lead the effort that will include a former U.S. Navy sailor who was kicked out of the service when he refused to board a ship in San Diego that was bound for the Middle East.”
