“On Feb. 14, Super Mercado announced plans to replace Albertson’s 31,000-square-foot site located at Sixth and Santa Clara streets that was closed in January. The 20-year-old Latino grocery chain, which has four other stores in San Jose and one in Fresno, plans to revamp the large site with added features, including a pharmacy and bakery. It’s planning a May opening.”
