“For the first time in more than a decade, Nassau County granted on Feb. 24 a funding increase to a Hempstead agency that provides support for the growing Latino community.

Members of the Nassau County Legislature announced the $100,000 funding allocation at the Main Street office of the Coordinated Agency for Spanish Americans (CASA). Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-North Massapequa) was present along with CASA Executive Director Marianela Jordan, who honored the legislator for his work with the agency.”
