“Julio César Cedillo was 5 when he moved to Texas from Mexico, crossing the border in his father’s truck on a 1,000-mile journey from Durango to the north Fort Worth neighborhood of Diamond Hill.

He is a native of Mexico.

He is a graduate of our own Fort Worth schools.

As of this weekend, he is also our newest hometown movie star.”
