“TV Azteca, S.A. de C.V. (BMV: TVAZTCA) (Latibex: XTZA), one of the two largest producers of Spanish- language television content in the world, announced today that it began operations of Proyecto 40 — an over-the-air UHF channel that covers the Mexico City metropolitan area — with content that contributes to the consolidation of a more open and pluralistic society.

Proyecto 40 presents a programming grid with news, opinion, research and debate. The project brings together noted cultural, social, economic and political opinion leaders from Mexico and expects to expand in areas that are of interest to the Mexican society.”
