“A recent study by the Assembly Puerto Rican/Hispanic Task Force has uncovered numerous housing inequities, such as overcrowding and inferior conditions, in New York’s Latino communities, while increasingly higher percentages of Latinos’ earnings go to rent.
The study, called The State of Housing for Hispanics in the United States, was unveiled last Tuesday at the Albany Institute of History and Art. Affordable housing advocates met with elected officials to discuss this ongoing crisis facing New York’s fastest growing ethnic group.”
