LatCom Creates High School Magazine, Rebrands ‘iCaramba U.’

Privately held LatCom Communications has launched a quarterly magazine for high school Latinas.

The free magazine, Latino U. ”” High School Edition, will have a set rate base of 100,000, and has applied for BPA audit as of February 2006, according to David Chitel, CEO of LatCom. Its target is 13- to-17-year-old Hispanic girls. The high school edition will be distributed exclusively at high-density Latino schools nationwide in branded Latino U. racks on campuses. Committed advertisers include KFC, Clean and Clear and The California Student Aid Commission, says Chitel.
