“The aroma of meat cooking on the grill filled the air inside El Paisano Taqueria.

“What are those called?” John Sullivan asked, pointing at the grill manned by Elder Quiterio.

“They’re called chorizo,” Quiterio said. He then explained to Sullivan that chorizo is a Mexican sausage that he often puts in tacos and enchiladas.”
