SBS Spanish Radio Top Biller in Major Market.

“Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (”SBS”) announced that Spanish-language radio station WXDJ-FM has been ranked as the highest biller in a major U.S. market, setting a precedent for the Hispanic media industry.

SBS Miami flagship, WXDJ-FM (”El Zol 95″), was ranked #1 in billing among all South Florida radio stations with total 2005 revenues of over $23.3 million, according to the national CPA radio revenue monitoring firm of Miller, Kaplan, Arase and Company. WXDJ’s revenue total was over $2.5 million more than the next highest billing station in the market, 42.7% over its own prior year total, and the highest annual revenue ever achieved by any South Florida radio outlet”
