“Schools in Miami-Dade lead the world in Hispanic students’ performance on the challenging Advanced Placement exams, according a report released this morning, and Florida continues to participate in the program at high rates.

”For the last six years, Florida has been a great example of a state that has made an investment in AP,” said Gaston Caperton, the former West Virginia governor who is now president of the College Board, the nonprofit group that runs the AP program.”
