“Latinos for America (www.LatinosForAmerica.com) today announced its decision to form “LFA-PAC” the first progressive political action committee geared to serving progressive Hispanic candidates in the United States. Ralph Miller, Executive Director of Latinos for America explains, “In 2004 and 2005, we [LFA] focused on training and development for Hispanics wanting to get involved in American politics. Because of our work and the efforts of several other groups, many new and highly qualified Hispanic candidates are coming forward to run. As a non-profit, LFA is limited in the types of support we can provide. By forming a PAC, we will be able to help frame the very message these candidates promote. The new LFA-PAC will make a difference in a way that no other group is doing.”"
